Top 5 Forex Forums

Online forex traders often lead a lonely life because all we do is face the computer and look at charts.

Luckily, there are online forex forums that can allow us forex traders to communicate with each other.

There a many forex forums out there on the web and here are 5 that you may want to check out.

Forex Factory

This is the leading forum when it comes to forex trading. There are various threads being discussed by viewers as well as forex traders. Some discussion go for a long time in the forum threads. Be prepared to see a lot of debate  going on between traders from all ove the world.

The forum is based on the standard phpBB platform. However, the creators of the forum made some changes to prevent massive spamming in order to maintain a high value in their content.

Therefore, you can expect that there will be no disturbing advertisement or users trying to con you into buying their product.

The calendar in Forex Factory is  their most powerful selling point.

Forex-TSD

Compared to other forums, Forex-TSD comes with a rather flat design. Nevertheless, the threads in the forum are equally popular on the web.

Moderators of the forum is also hardworking in fighting spam. So, you won’t have to worry about unwanted message if you use this forum

FXStreets

This forum is an independent forum that comes with a lot of resources. The forum itself is not the main star in FXStreet but it provides another platform for traders to debate about strategies, brokers and so on.

One highlight is the ‘Ask the wizard’ feature where newbies can ask any question that they want and they will be provided with the proper answers by the person in charge.

So, it is a great place for newbie forex traders.

DailyFX

This forum is owned and operated by FXCM ( a forex broker) but it is not connected to the main site of FXCM.

However, they separate the forums making it not suitable for me (personal choice).

For example, they have one forum for each specific currency pair. It is kind of troublesome if you ask me.

The fight against spam is ever present but the moderators are not acting quickly enough.The spam can sometimes accumulate.

OandaFXTrade

If you know about Oanda, they are one of the biggest brokers in the world. So, hthey have a lot of forum members who are traders who have accounts with them. You will see some discussion to be Oanda-related instead of just purely about forex trading.

This is an advantage because these discussion can often help traders deal with issues that they have with their brokers.

As for spam, the moderators is on the slow side. They are good but not great.

So there you have it, the top 5 forum for forex trading related matters (in my opinion).
Of course there are many more forums available out there.
